FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a Redditch man who had his hand stuck in a sofa on Tuesday, June 23.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident on Appletree Lane but were unable to say how the man found himself in the unfortunate position.
The fire service used bolt cutters to free the 52-year-old at 7.47pm.
He was advised to visit an accident and emergency department for further assessment.
