A KNITTED version of the Bible is set to go on show in Studley.

Studley Methodist Church is hosting a special exhibition featuring 33 scenes from the Christian Holy Book using entirely knitted figures.

The ‘Knitted Bible’ is the creation of members of St George’s United Reformed Church in Hartlepool. There are scenes of 14 well-known stories from the Old Testament, including Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark and Jonah and the Whale, as well as 19 scenes from the New Testament, following the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection.

The exhibition opened on Wednesday (October 8) and runs until October 22.

It is open to the public from 10am until 12noon on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and on Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

Group bookings can be made at other times by calling 01527 854830.
