Drivers warned of road closures as Alcester gets set for biggest ever 10k

IT’S the Alcester 10k event this Sunday, October 6, and road closures will be in place while the run takes place.

And with more participants signed up than ever before the run is due to be the biggest to date.

The High Street and Henley Street will be closed between 6am and 2pm with rolling road closures along Kinwarton Road (9.45am to 10.30am) the B4089 road to Great Alne (9.45am to 10.45am) with two way traffic control at Spernall Lane from 10am to 10.45am.

Closures will continue along Pelham Lane (10am to 11am) to the Wood Lane crossroads, then through Walcote (10am to 11.15am) to Haselor and on to Oversley Green back to the High Street (10.15am to 11.30am).
