THE Co-op in Studley has served up a new-look food store following a £1million-plus, nine-week redevelopment programme.

Extending over nearly 8,000 sq ft the store runs on 100 per cent renewable electricity, and supports around 20 jobs.

The revamp includes customer car parking, Amazon lockers, a new-look bakery and a Costa coffee dispenser, alongside an increased range of fresh and chilled products, vegan and free-from foods, award-winning wines, toys and homeware.

Store manager Amy Guest said: “The store has been completely transformed. It has a great new look and we are receiving fantastic feedback.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to make such a significant investment in Studley.

“Our aim is for the store to operate at the heart of local life, a community hub making a difference locally.”
