A CHARITY football match is to be held in memory of local teenager Ollie Sellers at Redditch United’s Trico Stadium.
More than 400 people attended the event last year to celebrate the life of 19-year old Ollie, who was killed in a car crash in 2017.
Speaking ahead of the event on August 4, Ollie’s dad, Paul, said: “We’re very happy to be having a football match again.
“Doors will open at 11am, followed by Kick-off at 12midday.
“This year we’re spreading the love and raising money for Jordan Adams, who was recently on a TV programme called The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes.”
Jordan, from Redditch, is the UK’s youngest dementia sufferer, having tested positive for Pick’s disease.
The event will also raise money for road safety charity Brake.
Paul added: “As well as the game there will be a raffle, face painting, food and a bar.
“We look forward to seeing you all on the day.”
