Man charged with sexual assault is wanted by police for failing to attend court in Redditch

A BROMSGROVE man who has been charged with sexual assault is wanted by police after failing to attend court in Redditch.

David Banner, of Jasmine Grove, failed to appear at Redditch Magistrates Court on November 13, 2017 to face charges of assault, sexual assault on a woman and breach of non-molestation order.

A warrant has now been issued for the 47-year-old’s arrest.

Banner is believed to frequent Bromsgrove and South Birmingham area.




Sergeant David King from West Mercia Police said: “Investigations are now ongoing and we are appealing for the public’s help in assisting us to locate Banner.

“I would ask the public not to approach him if they see him, but to please contact police.
