THE family of a Northampton man who died following a collision near Inkberrow have said their ‘hearts are broken.’

Andrew Fawcett died following a crash on the A422 Inkberrow to Flyford Flavell road last week.

Mr Fawcett was travelling along the A422 Inkberrow to Flyford Flavell road around 3.50pm on Sunday (September 3) when his vehicle was in collision with a white Ford Ranger pickup, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The 51-year-old was taken to hospital but sadly died from his injuries.

Paying tribute, his family said: “Andrew was a much-loved husband and father to his two children, who he adored.

“He had so many plans for the future and our hearts are broken.”

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and messages of sympathy but have asked the media to respect their privacy at this difficult time.

A file has been prepared for the coroner.

Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle involved in the minutes leading up to the collision to contact them.

Anyone with any information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 441S of 3 September.
