BIG-HEARTED staff at Hughes electrical shop have donated a fridge freezer to Inspire CIC in the Winyates Craft Centre.
The award-winning Community Interest Company has been instrumental in supporting people during the pandemic with food deliveries, counselling and its zero waste and refill shop.
Hughes made the donation before Sunday when Inspire had its shed stolen.
Karen Martin, who runs Inspire, said: “I was very cheeky and asked Hughes if they had any spare fridge freezers.
“We needed more room to store goods to avoid food going to waste.
“Hughes donated a brand-new fridge – their generosity has blown us away and we can’t thank them enough for their support.
“It’s a real community-based company and they have helped out many others too.”
The fridge freezer will also be used to store goods when Inspire opens its new coffee shop.
