THE BEST of British will be the theme for the annual summer concert by a Redditch choir.
Arrow Vale Singers will be performing the patriotic affair at St Stephen’s Church next Sunday (July 13) at 4.30pm.
The choir will perform a selection of traditional and modern classics from styles including musical theatre, film, opera and even nursery rhymes. They will be joined for several numbers by their guests the Blackwell Concert Band, who will also perform several individual pieces.
Part of the event’s proceeds will go towards the choir’s charity of the year the Midlands Air Ambulance and the band’s charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
Audience members are encouraged to wear red, white and blue for the afternoon.
