A PUPIL from Beoley First School has been named as one of the runners-up in MP Sajid Javid’s Christmas card competition.

Seven-year-old Amelia Cook showed off her creative skills and was chosen, along with Aaron Brittain, aged three, from Coppice Nursery, and Isabella Pettet, four, from Coppice Primary School. The trio’s designs will feature on the back of the Bromsgrove MP’s card.

A spokesperson for Beoley First School said: “We are all very proud of her beautiful design.”

The overall winner was eight-year-old Holly Moult from Beaconside Primary School in Rubery.
