THERE was a fond farewell for Sally Davies, the headteacher at Beoley First School who is stepping down after 13 years ‘to start a new adventure.’
A special assembly was held for her in the morning before a ‘leavers barbecue’ was joined by a huge number of former pupils and pupils.
“I have enjoyed the most amazing 13 years at Beoley,” said Sally.
“There are so many wonderful memories I will take away with me. I am particularly proud of our outdoor learning environment and the fact that we have gained four consecutive Eco Flags.
“Much of our curriculum centres around caring for the environment and we are all very proud of everything we have achieved.
“Beoley pupils, staff, governors, families and friends have given me the most fantastic ‘send-off’ – it has been an emotional few weeks.
“A huge thank you to everyone. I will be leaving Beoley with many tears, but also an overwhelming sense of pride.”
