STUDENTS at the town’s Beoley First School have been putting their green fingers to good use, creating a Shakespeare-themed garden for the Malvern Spring Festival.
The work of art will celebrate the 400th anniversary of the bard’s death and includes plants that would have been around at the time of Shakespeare.
The garden is currently under construction and will be displayed in all its glory at the Malvern Showground on May 6 to 8.
It’s been an exciting project for the children who have been involved in every stage, from the planning, to writing letters requesting plants to fund-raising and to actually building the garden itself.
The school extends its thanks to all of the parents who have been involved, particularly Mrs Marshall.
