BATCHLEY Support Group will continue to collect and distribute food to clients but has changed its service times.
The new measure aims to minimise the risk of the group’s users, staff, volunteers, contractors and trustees in catching COVID-19.
The group, based at 21 Salters Lane, will be open for food collections on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 6.15pm-7.15pm.
Here, free meals will be distributed to registered clients.
The shop, where residents can purchase food packs at a reduced price, will be open as usual on Wednesdays between 6pm-7pm.
In addition, Batchley Support Group is appealing for donations of food and new volunteers to assist with its food collections and community work.
