Avon calling! Rebecca drops off some goodies for staff at Alex

AN AVON representative from Redditch has used her business to give back to NHS workers at the Alexandra Hospital.

Rebecca Harris, who has switched online to keep her business open during the coronavirus crisis, donated close to 200 hand creams to staff at the Alex suffering with dry hands.

“I wanted to do something for those in our NHS hospitals who are working every day, away from their families, to keep us all safe, and let them know we’re thinking of them,” said Rebecca.

“I used to be a carer myself so their dedication to keeping us safe really hit home with me.

“I ordered Avon hand creams myself, and asked all of my customers, friends and family if they wanted to buy a product to add to my donation.

“In addition to the hand creams, I am donating 100 per cent of proceeds for the collection to NHS Charities Together.”

Rebecca is just one of many Avon reps giving back to their local communities and key workers.

The company is not only supporting NHS workers but also women and children fleeing domestic abuse and staying in refuges.

Domestic abuse figures have risen significantly since lockdown and Avon has contributed £150,000 to keeping women safe.

“I’m proud to be part of the Avon family, everyone is really helping each other at this time,” said Rebecca.
