A NIGHT full of live music is coming to the Redditch Palace Theatre next month to raise money for refugees fleeing civil war, writes Sophie Wheeler.
The Gimme Shelter fundraising gig has been organised by the Bromsgrove and Redditch Welcome Refugees charity (BRWR).
Scheduled for May 10, the event is the charity’s second fundraising concert and promises to be a night of uplifting indie and folk music.
With performances by Jules Rendell, Wes Finch, Nigel Clark (Dodgy) and Demi Marriner and Robbie Cavanagh, the event in the Palace Studio is sure to have something for everyone.
Starting at 7pm all profits will be split between supporting refugees in Worcestershire and giving aid to camps in Europe and around the world.
Tickets cost just £12 and are available in person from the box office, online at http://www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk/ or by calling 01527 65203.
