Appeal for witnesses following collision in Redditch

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision yesterday morning (Monday 28 February) on Church Hill Way in Redditch, at the junction of Tanhouse Lane and Melbury Way.

At around 8am a white Vauxhall Astra and a bicycle collided. The car was travelling along Tanhouse Lane and the cyclist was on Church Hill Way. The collision occurred at the junction, outside Maple View Medical Practice.

The cyclist, a 35-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dash-cam or CCTV footage which may have captured it.
