THE Police are appealing for witnesses or any information relating to an assault in Redditch on Monday evening May 21.

At around 9.20pm, a struggle took place between two men outside the Woodrow pub, in the Woodrow Centre.

Police say one of the men was hit with a bottle, causing cuts to his ear which required stitches in hospital.

The suspect is described as a mixed race man, around 5ft 8ins or 5ft 9ins, of slim build with black braided hair.

He is believed to have been wearing a grey baseball-type hooded top and black or blue jeans.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence and are appealing for people to call them on 101, quoting incident 755 on 21 May 2018.
