HAVE you ever wanted to take a 57 hour trip across the Sahara by camel?
You’re going to have an opportunity to hear all about it on Wednesday April 18 when John Hare OBE and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society will be giving a lecture on his experience doing just that.
His tale, ‘Crossing the Sahara by camel from Nigeria to Tunisia’ costs just £5 per person with all proceeds going to the Wild Camel Protection Foundation based in Mongolia.
It’s at Hillers Farm Shop near Dunnington on the old Evesham Road with snacks and drinks at 6.30pm and the talk at 7pm.
