DOZENS of bottles of alcohol were stolen in Alcester last week by shoplifters.

On Sunday, January 7 at around 8.30pm, a group of four criminals targeted a shop in the Hopkins Precinct in Alcester.

The two white men, one black man and one white woman stole between 20 to 30 bottles of booze before driving off in a silver Peugeot parked in the precinct car park.

The vehicle seemed to have been lowered on its suspension and the front lights had been modified.

Vodka and Champagne were among eight bottles of alcohol also stolen in Alcester, this time last Friday (January 12)

Between 5.54pm and 6.05pm, a man was spotted entering a shop on three separate occasions, concealing the bottles in his clothing before walking out of the store without paying.

The clean-shaven white man is aged between 30 and 40, is of medium build with thinning ginger hair. He was wearing a faded brown leather jacket, black t-shirt, blue jeans and old dirty white trainers.
