Alcester's Turnpike GateHouse gets up to speed

TENANTS at Alcester’s Turnpike GateHouse are getting up to speed with a technology boost.

Thanks to high-speed connectivity supplier WarwickNet, the building now has business-grade broadband and poor connectivity is a thing of the past.

The previous connection was so bad that one businessman said if it had not have been improved, he would have had to said goodbye to Turnpike GateHouse.

“We were reliant on a number of slow and unreliable ADSL lines,” Kevin Ross, Geomant director, added.

“In our business, a fast connection is essential and if WarwickNet hadn’t supplied the connection when they did, we’d have needed to relocate.”

BT had already rolled-out fibre to Alcester but the cabinet that served Turnpike GateHouse had not been enabled.

A Point of Presence has now been installed in the building and Kevin has already noticed a big difference in videoconferencing Visit www.warwicknet.com or call 024 7699 7222 for more information.
