Agent nails the right premises for two enterprising Redditch sisters

TWO enterprising sisters have launched their own nail bar in Redditch town centre.

Speedy work by property agents John Truslove meant Szara Wahid and Gabriella Rozsa were able to open up G&S Nails at The Kiosk, in Alcester Street, just a couple of days after the Government lifted Covid 19 restrictions on nail bars and beauty salons.

“We’ve got off to a good start,” said Szara.

“Like everyone on the high street we are hoping to get busier as people get more confident in the coming weeks and months.”

Originally from Hungary, the sisters decided to use their skills to open a new business in Redditch and spotted The Kiosk property online.

Szara trained in Hungary while Gabrielle trained in the UK.

“We got in touch with Ian Parker at John Truslove and he arranged for us to have a look inside the premises just a couple of days later.

“Ian and the team have been really helpful so we could get in and get everything sorted in time to open.

The Kiosk, on an annual rent of £7,000, is at 1 Alcester Street and provides 459 sq ft, neighbouring the town branch of NatWest and opposite the Post Office.

Ian Parker, joint managing director of John Truslove, said: “These are two hard-working ladies who take pride in their skill with nail work and I am sure they will have great success building up their new business.”
