A YEAR of helping good causes both locally and internationally is on the agenda for Noel Pritchard, the new president of Redditch Rotary Club.
Rotary International has been at the forefront of combating the scourge of polio worldwide and raising funds for Aquabox, ensuring clean drinking water in the Third World. Locally Redditch Rotary has adopted the Batchley Support Group as its chosen charity.
“I’m looking forward to the year ahead enormously,” said Noel. of Astwood Bank. “We are always looking to increase our membership and as a lunchtime club we appeal to retired or semi retired people who enjoy good speakers, good company and helping their community.”
This year is set to be no exception with an exciting range of guest speakers already arranged.
Redditch Rotary Club meets every Monday lunchtime at the Abbey Hotel in Hither Green Lane at 12.30pm for 1pm.
