A juicy way to help the refugees - with fresh Redditch produce

Redditch Editorial 17th Jan, 2018   0

RESIDENTS dropping off unwanted clothes for refugees fleeing civil war are to have the he chance to snap up some home grown apple juice.

Bromsgrove and Redditch Welcomes Refugees (BRWR) is starting up its monthly clothing collection next weekend, after the Christmas break.

As well as hoping that kind hearted local people will be able to help those less fortunate than themselves, they’ll also be selling bottles of their very own ‘Refujuice’.

Made from locally ‘gleaned’ apples – windfalls and the like – every penny made from the juice, which is fully pasteurised – will go to help the work of BRWR.

The clothing donation station will be at The Bridge Church (St Lukes) on Evesham Road, Headless Cross, on Saturday, January 20 from 2pm to 4pm.

Bottles of Refujuice are £3 each or £8 for three and these will be on sale too.
