A TOTAL of 36 Redditch schools have been forced to close their doors today, Tuesday, December 12, due to the icy weather conditions.
The plunging overnight temperatures last night (Monday, December 11) and with temperatures barely rising above freezing today, most headteachers decided that opening was not a safe option for pupils and staff.
