Watercolour exhibition coming to Inkberrow, village of culture

Redditch Editorial 12th Nov, 2017   0

AN Inkberrow artist is getting set for his 36th annual contribution to culture in the village with an exhibition this month.

Painter John Harris, a resident of Inkberrow for more than 40 years, culminates his working year with an exhibition of watercolours every year and on November 25 is inviting people to the Sports Pavilion to see a selection of his work.

From November 25 until December 1, guests are invited to the Sports Pavilion on Sands Road, open 10am until 5pm each day to see the scope of John’s work, with the added bonus of village views, some wildlife and familiar landscapes.

A busy working artist, John is a regular visitor of Dubai, but with this collection his focus returns closer to home and the changing colours of the Worcestershire and Warwickshire landscape.

Art lovers, amateur artists, browsers and even past pupils from John’s art–teaching days are invited to the annual show, which also has free parking and admission.
