THE ‘Voice of Ireland’ Tommy Fleming will be playing live at the Palace Theatre next Thursday (April 12), celebrating 25 years as a solo performer, writes Sophie Wheeler.
After rising to fame in the early 1990s, Tommy he has found great success in singing both Irish and contemporary music.
With a unique and powerful style, he is famous for his own arrangements of Danny Boy, Isle of Inisfree and Hard Times.
While his music may be hard to classify, fans have described his songs as ‘deeply emotional, romantic and sincere’.
His talent has brought him worldwide recognition with sell out tours in Ireland, the UK, Australia and the US and touring with artists including Elaine Paige and Kenny Rogers in recent years.
