PARISIAN singer Celine Dommart and former Acoustic Guitarist of the Year Cris Tolley are performing a rare duo concert at Webheath Village Hall on Sunday, March 25 at 7.30pm.
Since starting their French, Jazz and Latin music project ‘Montparnasse’ in 2014, Celine and Cris have released two EPs and, most recently, the album ‘Dans Les Cafes Voisins’ with a quartet featuring double bass and drums.
The band has played concerts all over the country at prestigious venues such as MAC Birmingham and the Upton Jazz Festival.
Paris Conservatoire graduate Celine sings in French, Spanish and English and will be performing songs from all over Europe and the Americas, as well as performing some original material as the band prepares to record their second album.
The more intimate duo concerts allow Celine and Cris to strip some of the World’s greatest songs down to their essential elements and present them in a more informal manner.
