SOMETHING very special is happening in St Stephens Church in Redditch town centre at this Saturday’s Bandstand event on July 13.
For children old and young there’s free puppet shows and puppet workshops to enjoy.
It’s all in the hands of Puppet Vision, a local, ecumenical, all age puppet team who are being joined by members of the Puppet Academy who will soon be taking part in the European Puppet Festival.
They’ll all be performing in St Stephen’s at 12.45pm and 2.15pm – make a note in your diary!
Their shows consist of stories, sketches and parody songs to entertain children and adults alike.
Just as exciting, after each performance there will be a chance for children and the young at heart to have a go in a puppet workshop.
As well as the free puppet shows and workshops there will also be ‘hook a duck’, tombola, pick’n’mix sweet stall, water or wine adult tombola, a children’s tombola, plus a selection of homemade cakes to be enjoyed in the church café and much more.
