AUDITIONS are to be held for a 50th anniversary production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Yes it really is 50 years old this year and the hunt is on for people to help celebrate this special occasion with a production at the Palace Theatre in Redditch running from Wednesday to Saturday, October 24-27.
If you can sing, dance, act and would like to be part of this family fun show as part of joint venture between Dynamik Theatre and Wythall Theatre Company they want to hear from you.
Wythall Theatre Company itself will also be holding its own celebrations for its 60th Anniversary this year so it’s going to be an exciting time on two fronts.
Anyone who thinks they could be that dreamer, Joseph, or could rock it up as an Elvis type Pharaoh, tell the tale as the narrator or join the gang as one of Joseph’s jealous brothers then here’s what they need to do:
Auditions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20 – 19th and Sunday 20th May for the following
On Saturday, May 19 principals / adult ensemble aged 16 and over should go to Wythall Park Hall for 10am to 5.30pm.
On Sunday, May 20 children’s ensemble aged eight to 16 should go to the same venue for 10am to 12.30pm and principals / adult ensemble – aged 16 and over 12.30pm to 5pm also at Wythall Park Hall.
