ALCESTER musician Jack Blackman is a finalist in What’s On Live Magazine Readers Awards 2018.

Jack is in the ‘Best Midlands Solo Musician’ category in the annual awards organised by the popular regional listings magazine.

He is up against four other Midlands based artists including Laura Mvula and Soweto Kitch.

Anyone can vote in the awards simply by going to www.whatsonlive.co.uk and following the links to the ‘Readers Awards’.




Voting concludes at the end of February.

Jack has played at festivals and shows across the UK, playing more than 100 gigs in 2017.


His songs have received radio airplay across the world and this year will see the release of his fourth album following on from the critically acclaimed ‘Nearly Man’ record in 2016.

Jack hosts the popular Tuery Sessions in Alcester which are held monthly at the Cross Keys pub.
