STUDLEY businessman Shohaib Shafiq was honoured with an official invitation to 10 Downing Street after his company was selected as one of the UK’s leading 100 small businesses.
Mr Shafiq, of Integrity Accountancy Services Ltd, clinched the spot after appearing in the coveted Small Business Saturday Small Biz 100.
As well as running his own company, Mr Shafiq is chairman of Studley in Business and has helped to raise the profile of the local business community.
He was also instrumental in encouraging the Small Business Saturday Bus Tour to stop in Studley, helping to raise the profile of local firms in the process.
“I was really grateful and honoured to be invited to 10 Downing Street. It was a great day and I had the opportunity to talk to key decision makers about the issues small businesses face,” said Mr Shafiq.
