IT IS amazing litter continues to be a problem facing our society in the 21st Century.
When I was a child it was drummed into me both at home and at school that I either put my rubbish in a bin or take it home with me and dispose of it there.
If I didn’t both my grandparents and parents were quick to correct me.
I know schools continue to push the anti-littering message today, so why do we still have this problem generation after generation?
Perhaps rather than fine people we should dump a load of rubbish on their doorstep and see if that gets the message across.
