  • Time for councillors to open their ears

    09 May 2008

AFTER the recent mauling the Labour party took in particular around Redditch let us hope we now have a council that will listen to the people they represent and look into keeping the One Stop Shops open across town or at least give us a better alternative than just the Town Hall to replace them.
I seem to remember it was the Labour and Lib Dem councillors who voted in favour of closing them down. And the Conservatives who all voted in favour of keeping them open.
Voters have shown all across the country that they have had enough and it's time for councillors to open their ears and start to listen to the voters they are there to represent on all local issues.
