A B-LOOM-ING great event was on offer for youngsters in the Kingfisher Centre this summer.

Children had the chance to make their own loom band creations - the craze which has been sweeping the nation recently - at The Entertainer during popular free workshops.

More than 250 young people learnt new techniques and designs using coloured plastic bands to make different bracelets.

Katie Broome, Kingfisher’s marketing manager, said: “We’re really happy to see that The Entertainer’s loom band events are proving to be so popular.

“It’s amazing to see the creations the staff come up with and the children who attend are making some really great models and intricate bands.”
