STAFF and customers were threatened during a robbery at a borough pub.

Three robbers entered Meadow Farm Pub on Dagnell End Road just before 7.40am this morning (Friday).

The restaurant was open for breakfast and although no one was harmed police said people were threatened by the thieves.

The men, who were wearing high visibility jackets, with one in a hard hat, stole a gaming machine, a handbag and purse.

They left in a white ford van and turned right out of the pub car park towards Beoley.

Det Insp Jill Fowler said: "We are continuing with our enquiries to trace the offenders.

"We would urge anyone who was at the Meadow Farm Pub or nearby at the time of the incident or who may have seen a white transit van or the stolen gaming machine to get in touch with police to assist with our enquiries."

Anyone with any information about the incidents should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 99 of August 15.
