Cash taken in Redditch burglary

A QUANTITY of cash was stolen by burglars from a home in Greenlands Avenue.

It is believed thieves gained access through an unlocked window some time between 12.30am and 7.50pm on Sunday (August 3) while the owners were out - although no damage was caused.

West Mercia Police are reiterating the warning for residents to be vigilant and ensure their windows and doors are all locked before they go out.
