CHILDREN hopped, skipped and raced their way to success at their annual sports day.

Pupils from Beoley First School teamed up to compete against each other and activities included an egg and spoon race, javelin, skipping and the sack race.

By the end of the event, the green team were crowned the winners and were awarded the sports day cup.

Parents and family were then invited to a fête which raised £1,200.
