STRATFORD’S MP visited a Studley school to see how £500,000 from the Government has helped to transform the building.
Studley High School received the grant from the Department of Education after MP Nadhim Zahawi backed its bid.
The money has paid for the Crooks Lane site to be refurbished with a new reception area, toilets and windows.
Over the past few years a new performing arts block has also been built, while the main corridor was widened and a new medical room was also created.
A spokeswoman from the school said the work made pupils feel valued after years of campaigning through the school council.
