BROWNIES have put in a bloomin’ marvellous effort to help Studley strike gold again.

Members of 2nd Studley (St Mary’s) helped the Studley in Bloom team put in yellow plants attractive to bees at the parish centre and around the village.

Last year Studley won gold for the fourth year running as well as being named as the best entry in the small town category.

Residents are also being urged to support the village’s entry this year by picking up litter and ensuring their gardens are tidied and in good condition ahead of judging on Friday, August 1.
