A FOOTBALL team will be stepping out onto the pitch in style thanks to the generosity of members of Redditch Round Table.

The Special Olympics Redditch side will proudly wear the strip which features The Round Table motto ‘Adopt, Adapt, Improve’.

Ron Daykin, vice chair of Special Olympics Redditch, said: “We rely on volunteers to help us to run this organisation and also on local charities to support us financially. Redditch Round Table sponsorship for our football team has really given the team a boost and we can’t thank them and their members enough.”

Jason Robbins, from Redditch Round Table, added: “This is a great local cause and we’re delighted to help. Ron and his team of volunteers provide an excellent service to provide year-round sports training and competition for people with learning difficulties in Redditch so when we were asked to help with a kit we were keen to assist.”

Redditch Round Table has money to donate to good causes. Anyone interested in bidding for funding should contact them by visiting www.facebook.com/redditchroundtable where information on membership is also available.
