STAFF and pupils from Vaynor First School rolled out the red carpet for their own film premiere.

The Oscars style ceremony showcased short movies made by the children at the school, as well as

Crabbs Cross Academy, Walkwood Middle School and Webheath First School Academy, as part of a mini film festival.

The aim of the project was to produce a clip about their school and each child stepped into the shoes of directors, producers, editors and cameramen.

The completed films will be available to view on the website of each school.
