RESIDENTS are in for a blooming great time as this year’s Cookhill Baptist Church Flower Festival returns.

The church on Chapel Lane will open its doors from 10am until 5pm from next Friday to Sunday (June 27 to 29) to allow visitors to explore the many flowers on display.

It is the 15th festival at the church and this year follows the theme of colours of the rainbow - depicting God’s promises.

A service will also take place in the garden at 10.30am on the Sunday where Peter Barham, Pastor of Woodgreen Evangelical Church in Worcester will be preaching.

Refreshments and ploughman’s lunches will be available each day.

For more information call organiser Barbara Powell on 01386 792175.
