POLICE are hunting a suspected drug smuggler who has links to Redditch.

Michael Roden is believed to live in Spain but is thought to be involved in drug smuggling from the country in August last year.

The 25-year-old, who is likely to travel to the UK frequently, is also wanted for recall to prison and failure to pay a Proceeds of Crime Application forfeiture of £75,000.

Det Sgt Phil Davies, from West Midlands Police, said: "We are keen to trace Roden for a number of reasons.

"He is also wanted for questioning by West Mercia Police following an allegation of assault.

"Roden is known to have links to the Redditch area and may be travelling with false documentation."

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Roden should contact DS Davies on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
