Woman charged with burgling three homes

A WINYATES woman has appeared in court charged with burgling three homes.

Donna Barrett, of Winyates Centre, stood before Worcester magistrates on Saturday (June 6), accused of burgling two houses in Petton Close in Winyates, and one home in Cardington Close, Winyates.

The 33-year-old allegedly entered the properties last Thursday (June 5) and stole two handbags, two mobile phones, a rucksack and an Xbox controller.

All the property has been recovered by police.

Barrett was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, September 8, where she will enter a plea.
