A BOROUGH nursery has been rated Outstanding for the second time running.

Little Sneakers, on Lodge Pool Drive, was given the Ofsted grading across all categories following an inspection in March.

The rating comes just three years after being previously ranked as Outstanding and included how well the early years provision meets the needs of the children, how early years contributes to the well-being of the children and the effectiveness of leadership and management.

Inspectors praised the nursery for its highly stimulating environment, excellent knowledge of how children learn and the outstanding progress children make with their learning and development. It was also recommended the nursery should shares its work with other early years providers.

Owner Karen Madison said it was really important to not become complacent in childcare.

“The staff steam and management are always looking at ways to improve on things for the children as well as the parents and I think that is key.”
