Man charged with robbing taxi driver

A MAN will appear at court charged with robbing a taxi driver of £30.

The 23-year-old, who is from Redditch, was originally arrested in February this year by detectives from North Worcestershire CID.

He then answered bail on Saturday (May 10) and was charged in connection with the incident which happened in Kinnersley Close, Winyates, in the early hours of Sunday, February 9.

He was released on bail to appear before Redditch Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 27.
