SUPER swimmers from two borough schools are celebrating after splashing their way to victory.

Teams from both Abbeywood First and Church Hill Middle Schools won their respective swimming galas, each fending off competition from seven other schools.

Abbeywood headteacher Di Smith said: "We work very hard with our children to ensure they learn to swim and become water confident.

"Church Hill then continue from the firm foundations from Abbeywood which results in competent, confident swimmers. Well done everyone."
