FOOTBALL mad pupils are set to be inspired to take up a new hobby.

Holyoakes Field First School will be taking part in an exclusive reading scheme run by the Premier League.

A spokeswoman said: “Premier League Reading Stars is an initiative to inspire a love of reading in children and has recently gained national media coverage.

“Peter Hawley will be running this scheme after Easter as an after-school club, combining some great footie activities with opportunities to develop a wide range of reading skills.”
