SPORTY students have been filling up their school’s trophy cabinet.

Year 7 and 8 boys from St Bede’s Middle School won the district cross country, with Lewis Leigh winning the individual competition. Year 8 girls won the district indoor athletics and the county title for the second successive year.

There have also been successes in hockey for the Year 8 and Year 7 district title winners and Year 6 county champions and basketball with the boy’s title won for the sixth year in a row while the girls qualified for the national competition as one of the top 32 in the country.
