CROISSANTS and crepes aplenty were on offer at a Woodrow school as pupils opened up their own French cafés.

Pupils in Year 3 and 4 turned the hall at St Thomas More Catholic First School into several eateries.

They created their own signs and menus in French and then practised their language skills by serving friends, families and teachers.

The annual event supports the pupils' weekly French lessons.
